Job Posting: Multi-skilled Joiner

Ecospheric’s mission is to create valuable case studies to progress the field of sustainable construction. Our ambitious developments lead the building industry in incorporating the latest low energy technologies and methodologies. The company’s diverse offerings include low carbon property development, passive house design and consultancy, and supply and specification of high performance windows.

We are looking for an experienced building tradesperson with a willingness to learn about environmentally sustainable and energy efficient building techniques. This position will report to the Site Manager and work alongside two highly experienced multi-disciplined tradesmen and two apprentices. This is an exciting and unique opportunity to work on projects at the forefront of sustainable construction methods (passive house, zero carbon, NZEB).

 

Current projects include: 

• Retrofit of a Royal Mail sorting office into a low energy food hall

• The low energy retrofit of a Grade II* listed heritage building (image below)

• 5 new-build passive house residential homes
