Daylighting

Using the Design Builder energy model, we can optimise the use of natural light to enhance visual comfort, reduce energy consumption, and create a healthy and productive indoor environment. The value of completing a daylighting analysis when optimising for thermal performance (space heating demand or overheating) is that we can be sure the design conforms to the RIBA standards for daylighting requirements for each of the rooms in the building.
